The Ghost Bicycle Memorial - A Photo Tribute

Charges may be laid against the dump-truck driver involved in the death of Dr. Hubert Van Tol, of the University of Toronto. Toronto cycling activists vow to place a ghost bike at the scene of every cyclist's death.
More than one-hundred cyclists, community members, friends, and family of Dr. Van Tol came to the site of his death to ask the city to prevent avoidable, cycling related deaths.
A five minute lane closure on rush-hour Avenue Road at Cortleigh in memory of Dr. Van Tol.
Truck tracks cut across the sidewalk and roadway where Dr. Van Tol was killed.
Flowers in memory of Dr. Van Tol.
